Anyone tried changing rep ranges to match your fiber composition? Mike Israetel was talking about this in a podcast but I couldn't find too much more info.
This might be why the powerlifting routines don't work for a lot of people.

you're not gonna get big if you're slow twitch dominant they have least potential for growth as opposed to fast twitch

powerlifting is for pure strength not hyperthrophy

fast fibers are better

i like to keep compounds in the 5-8 rep range and isolations 8-12 or up to 15-20 on some exercises, works best for the majority of people imo (for hypertrophy)

pretty much every rep range works to build muscle. experts like brad schoenfeld have changed their stance from the "bro" idea of you MUST do moderate reps to this stance a long time ago.

question is do you want to spend forever in the gym. if not then low number of sets of like 10 is probably best.

fast fibers are better
I know they hypertrophy easier, but I think I'm slow-twitch dominant and I'm trying to figure out if and how I should train differently. There's one research paper on this
But it doesn't have a great protocol.

training with more volume, but even so, fast twitch fibers are much more beautiful

Mike Israetal literally looks like an orc due to how much hgh and insulin he abuses , he could do jumping jacks and still be big
