Thank you for the tips! Yeah, good that you mention it. My best friend I should do cheat days once a week but I told him is it ok to do it once every two weeks instead? Because knowing myself, I’ll probably start goyslopmaxxing again. He said it’s fine, but cheat days are necessary (his words). But I like your advice more, ngl. When I was starvemaxxing last year, I cut off goyslop altogether. No candy, cookies, chips, etc for like half a year. :feelsahh:
good, do that again and do not take his advice, it’s bs if you don’t have a decent enough will power

Cheat days are NOT necessary. I stopped eating slop and after a month or so I don’t even want it anymore.

Haha. Yeah, I was thinking maybe 200-300 kcal deficit at first and then slowly work my way higher? Because it seems I’ve gotten some loose skin now that I’ve rapidly gone from fat to skinny back to fat again. Maybe it will solve itself if I do a lower kcal deficit at first. Thoughts?

300 test, hit gym atleast 3x weekly, hit protein and eat lean meats

yh as a beginner, higher reps at a lower weight every time u hit 12 reps u move up a weight (progressively overloading)

I’m a fat slob who’s about to hit the gym very soon. What should be my routine and diet be like? For reference, I’m almost 90 kg, and it’s “all fat.”

It’s more simplier than it seems. You should choose a split that you enjoy and can actually maintain. I would suggest full body 3x a week at first. That’s actually one of the best splits as well.

For calories:
First you need to calculate your maintanance calories. You can estimate this in a TDEE calculator online. After you have your maintanace calories, I would eat ~800 calories below that. Then track your weight daily and change your calories if you need to.

Also try to walk for 15 minutes right after every meal, boosts metabolism and helps with fat loss.

For cardio I would say try to burn ~500 calories daily.

It seems I’ve gotten some loose skin (I noticed it when I lost a bit of weight this year), so would you think it’s better to start with a lower kcal deficit at first? I asked someone else the same question since I think you both are assuming that there’s no factors such as loose skin involved. I think I can counteract that by slowly increasing the deficit, what do you say?

No problem bro, do around 10 reps of everything in the beginning to master the form and try to feel the muscle that you are training. That helped me alot especially in lat pulldowns

Try Quark, I think that’s what it’s called. It’s high protein and low calories and you can find fat free as well.

Edit: also cheap.

Ahh I see, I thought shakes had thicker texture and thus were more fat. But I guess they’re sugary. Makes sense.

I like to think I’ve got decent will power as I’ve leanmaxxed through starving twice, but ngl it’s better to cut it off altogether for different reasons. :Comfy:

Yes, definitely slowly increase the deficit. That’s also good because if you start with a crazy deficit and daily workouts, you lose motivation quickly.

Most important thing is to stay consistent.

Yeah, you definitely need to add fruits. I suggest something that will blend into it, like blueberries. Personally I mix it with selfmade strawberry jam. I also add a little bit of white sugar to make it sweet.

im referencing the store bought shakes that are 20-35g protein they all have low fat less than 1g and high protein w high sugar content and calories range from 100-300kcal max
