No problem bro, do around 10 reps of everything in the beginning to master the form and try to feel the muscle that you are training. That helped me alot especially in lat pulldowns

Yes, definitely slowly increase the deficit. That’s also good because if you start with a crazy deficit and daily workouts, you lose motivation quickly.

Most important thing is to stay consistent.
I agree, I think it would start feeling like a job and that would just demotivate me, you know? Thanks!

Yeah, you definitely need to add fruits. I suggest something that will blend into it, like blueberries. Personally I mix it with selfmade strawberry jam. I also add a little bit of white sugar to make it sweet.
I’ve sworn off strawberries ever since I saw that one video on TikTok. :feelswhy::feelswhy::feelswhy:

I’m a fat slob who’s about to hit the gym very soon. What should be my routine and diet be like? For reference, I’m almost 90 kg, and it’s “all fat.”
Don't listen to random gymcels telling you that you have to do this and that. Just follow whatever routine that works for you. As long as it involves a good amount of weights/resistance (prioritize compound movements) and cardio, the exercises itself don't matter as much.

It's mostly about diet (calorie deficit in your case) and getting enough protein. This the part that fucks me up :feelswhy:

No one cares at the gym, everyone is doing their own thing. In the beginning 3 years ago I even got people who offered to help me on my form and stuff. They will respect you for going to the gym and improving yourself to the better.

You seriously need to bring it back I will be an eternal debt to you when it was deleted, I lost 100 posts and something like 200 rep we weren't even rep farming the thread just got so big that they said we were we were genuinely just talking about regular things
I personally wouldn’t mind bringing it back if it didn’t break any rules (like, if it was considered repfarming). But I am mainly reluctant because I’ll have whoever deleted it complain about me reversing their actions. That’s happened before, so I try to not get in people’s way. If it’s the content itself that you want back, I could absolutely do that (like the introduction post or whatever), but other than that… :feelswhy:

im referencing the store bought shakes that are 20-35g protein they all have low fat less than 1g and high protein w high sugar content and calories range from 100-300kcal max
Ahhh right. I was thinking about those shakes that people make themselves. :Comfy: I think they add creatine to it? Or make it from creatine? Idk.

oh if ur referencing regular homemade protein shakes like the ones w protein powder + milk still isnt too high in cals, i personally have like 2.75 scoops a day/shakes so first morning shake = 1.5 scoops w 400ml semi skimmed milk w 20g honey and a banana ts comes up to 500kcal at 50g protein and under 10g fat

I say good butter is the most important thing. 4 eggs a day.

Push ups

Sit ups

Core strength is essential.

Each body is different but I lost my American got simple by stopping drinking cand soups and starting eating instant oatmeal and butter every day.

yh genuinely if ur struggling w protein intake, you should invest in protein supplements like powders etc whey protein tho, any would do the job, cheapest ive seen is Myprotein, takes ahh but its worth it

Sucks to hear about the falling out, and yeah, the way you mentioned you have an ex, it seems maintaining relationships is something you struggle with. I kind of relate to that. And no, no new oneitis, women don’t want me anyway. I’m studying to become an English teacher, I already secured an internship at a high school! :Comfy: I start next semester. I’m actually quite excited. :Comfy: Glad to hear life’s good on your end!!

Right! That’s usually what keeps me going, seeing progress. But when I reach a plateau, it’s always so demotivating. I’ve hit plateaus while starvemaxxing, those are the worst. Imagine not eating for a whole day and seeing you only lost 0.1 kg the next day. :fuk:
