I was thinking bout adding a whole separate day for arms only to my split

Do y’all do arm only days? What do ur splits/routines look like?

If ur gonna reply with advice or sum shit plz post physique because i am not taking advice from skinny faggots who bench 75lb and think they are fitness gurus cuz they learned the definition of hypertrophy on reddit.

Push pull legs rest push pull repeat

Biceps with pull triceps with push. You could do arms on an extra day but this is ideal program and most efficient

I actually looked a bit into this topic

Both research wise and anecdotally arms -especially biceps btw- can be trained very frequently and intensely compared to other big muscles since recovery time will be short for small muscles.

I’ve read a lot of personal accounts and seen their progress photos as well and their experiences through months. It was mostly quite positive

Same thing goes for deltoids as well.I remember seeing one guy who was natty that in addition to gym worked his deltoids at home everyday since he didn’t need gym gear .Insane results

You can not only add another day but also hit arms more during the week

In summer i did back+chest, legs, and biceps+triceps M-T-W and my arms grew a lot, but my forearms couldn't handle all the pounding.

This was me back in august, just turned 18 here 6’2.5 205 lbs. Train your muscles twice a week, and to cover both strength and size i would reccomend doing one heavy set of a compound lift to start off a workout, then do 3 dropsets to failure per muscle per workout (2 dropsets for smaller muscles if u want).

I recommend pull push legs rest if you take this approach, and id start the pull day with a set of a deadlift variation, push day with a set of a barbell bench variation, leg day I personally just do a set of leg press or hack squat but if u want u can also do a barbell squat. After this, on pull day dropset mid back exercises, upper back exercises, bicep exercises. Push day drop set chest shoulder and tri exercises, leg day drop set quad and posterior chain exercises (id throw in abs either leg day or pull day)

It seems like arms are easier to build the older you get, i figure their hard to stimulate but prone to myonuclei buildup over the years due to how much they get used in day to day life. A lot of bodybuilders say growing their arms was impossible while theh were young

Push/pull/legs and shoulders/push/pull/legs and shoulders/rest.

Push day - Chest and tricep
Pull day - Back and bicep

Do 3 excersise for each muscle group. 6 each session total.

When you're new anything is fine but not ideal. 5+ years of trial and error this has brought best results.

Back when I was doing a bro split, I added an arm day because they weren't growing as fast as everything else.
