TDLR: 66.6% of women have no gender bias when choosing a gynaecologist. 80% feel that physician gender does not influence quality of care. There is no statistical difference in patient satisfaction based on the gender of their gynaecologist.
There will be a lot of anecdotal evidence in this thread that says otherwise though
