Gynocomastia from finasteride?!HELP

Ive taken FINASTERIDE 1mg a day since 12June last year. I didnt have ANY side effects until recently. About a month ago i started feeling a small lump on my right nipple, and it grew into what is called GYNO. Now my nipple is tender, sore and sticks through my shirt a little more. The question to anyone in here is, should i stop my finasteride medication? Or should i cut it in half? The problem is, if i stop, ill lose my hair again, and i dont want that. But maybe i can cut it off for only a certain amount of time?!

Now THIS is the interesting part. In october 2025 i got a leg surgery which resulted in me staying at home for the first month and doing nothing. Since then i havent worked out in the gym not once, and i havent even played a sport. do yall think it can have some sort of connection to the gyno? Should i just start working out so that excess testostorone doesnt convert to estrogen? Btw im not that fat im like 20%BF and ive been that my whole life
FYI, my diet is the same its been my whole life and ive never had gyno.

damn, unlucky brah. Guess u could get it gone with surgery but idk if its a permanent solution i dont have it myself but might be worth looking into if u dont wanna quit fin (hair is life)

Okay, so DHT was playing an active role and you needed it but you blocked it, so you elevated your gyno risk by alot. Thank goodness you caught it early, because gyno is reversible early-on I believe

Sure you could do so, lean down to 10% ( thats when life starts anyway) and get on dut

its not athletic
cut + raloxifene for a bit and mark as solution

Stop it and go See a doctor because they could reverse it

for max convenience just go to 14%-16% and use uc on the entire midsection until it looks comparable

dont block dht until youre 20 ish. forget the gyno dht is a crucial hormone and you need it to fully develop
