Trust me u are. Do u even know what a h1b is? Yes its 120k, but the jobs literally PAY more than that, and the contracts are less strict normally. Is china outsourcing indians? No? Maybe to u, a person who is from a third world shithole, 120k for an IT job at a big firm sounds like heaven, and even if the contract has some questionable shit on it, its atleast better than been in india.
If they werent undercutting wages, there wouldnt be outrage bro trust me. Niggas arent just mad at u guys for no reason. Do u think japanese or korean migrants get the same shit as indians? Nope.
There should be basically 0 migration, from the third world, unless they are already ultra-wealthy and have their own assets. And if they move to western europe or America they should seek out for the interest of America, and Americans and identify as American. If not they can fuck off.
JFL YEAH Bro, critical infastructure requires indians. Im sure the critical infastructure in Alaska is on deaths doorstep because theres no curries there. Japans infastructure is on the edge of collapsing tooits not like they have had some of the fastest internet and network infastructure in the world despite having like no migrants.
Fuck me dude. This is my point. U think ur needed, or entitled. Ur not needed or entitled, ur ancestors didnt build fuck all in America, ur not even from a similiar wealth bracket as the americans at all, u share fucking nothing in common. So if ur told to go back home, u should understand and go back home.
America is a country it isnt an idea or just a massive free market , it has people, it has ideas. BTW I am against all forms of migration globally even the white people gentirfying bali or moving abroad. This is all because of global greed. Disgusting places like dubai that are tax havens etc.
Its just all globalist greed and the impacts of globalism. As an individual sure, move to bali, move to the US if ur a curry, but dont throw a fit or act like ur needed or wanted by anyone in the USA. Please
Firstly I don’t need to work. I work because I want to I choose to do it because tech is one of my passions I could retire today and live comfortably. I’m in this field because I enjoy building things and solving problems not because I’m running away from anything. So the “third-world desperation” narrative doesn’t really apply here. I even made a thread about it here.

This forum pushes me closer to becoming a NEET
Title: Tbh I was raised by my parents to fight for everything to study hard, land a good job and build a successful life To them success meant stability, money, and respect. And I’ve carried that mindset with me all along But every time I log onto the forum, I see people glorifying the NEET...
Now, regarding H-1Bs.These visas legally cannot pay below the prevailing wage for that role and region. That’s not my opinion it is written in stone U.S. federal law. Employers have to file a Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor before hiring an H-1B. If they underpay they’re breaking federal regulations. So the “undercutting wages” myth doesn’t hold up. I even made a thread about a recent twitter leak on Amazon salaries. What is true is that H1Bs visa are tied to their employment so they are generally more loyal and less likely to job hop unlike americans but not lower wages. Maybe lower Cost to the company overall

H1B salaries at Amazon leaked by an insider source
Some user on X leaked the Amazon's salary structure for it's H1B employees since it's one the companies with highest number of H1B visa requests This is the salary structure L4: Entry-level / New Grad / SDE I L5: Mid-level / SDE II or PM (non-senior) L6: Senior Engineer or Senior PM L7...
Most of these roles literally go unfilled for months before anyone is hired because the skill sets are that specialized.
And yes, $120K is the average base salary not the cap. I was making more on a per hour basis than that But you’re missing the real point the companies aren’t hiring from abroad to save a few bucks. They’re hiring because these are critical roles. When your cloud platform, AI pipeline, or data infra goes down, that costs hundreds of millions of dollars per hour. That’s why they hire whoever can handle it American, Indian, European doesn’t matter. You can be from Mars and they'll hire you if you can do it. I have literally seen people who never went to uni but got hired
Japan or Korea are irrelevant. Those are homogenous societies with completely different demographics and education pipelines. The U.S. has always been a a meritocracy built on global talent.. The Google that you use to find this forum was built by a russian Immigrant Sergey Brin, you graphics card which is Nvidia was built by Jensen Huang. Youtube by Steve Chen, PayPal etc. This can go on. Silicon valley is literally built on Immigrants.
Also, saying your ancestors didn’t build anything here is cope economies run on who can build now not whose great grandfather built a railroad. The U.S thrives because it keeps attracting talent from across the world. You benefit from global trade, global software, global infrastructure. US always get the cream of the crop while the rest get it's scraps.
And about identifying as American. Every professional immigrant on a work visa contributes through taxes, patents, and skills without taking anything away. That’s literally the definition of acting in the host country’s interest.
If you’re against all migration globally that’s dine. But then let’s be consistent no Americans in Bali, no European bankers in Dubai, no Western firms outsourcing to Asia. Globalization isn’t a one way thing. The same system that lets American companies dominate markets everywhere also creates the mobility that lets skilled people work globally.
