There is some truth to that though. Sports is constantly evolving, many greats of the past would get dusted in the future. Coaching gets better, what works/doesn’t becomes known, tactics improve, training methods, equipment, better PEDS, recovery etcThey will always be the greatest to you... In 30 years, the young people won't even know who these guys are, or they'll say, they played in weak leagues, blah blah blah... The same way people talk about Pele and Maradona now
In 30 years football will probably not even exist anymore or be a minor sport, all sports in fact are losing popularity now, people just don't have the patience anymore to watch for 90 minutes how some people run on a field after a ball, everyone is on their smartphones now, stuff like tiktok spoiled them - they need fast, diverse and constant action and it will only get worse...They will always be the greatest to you... In 30 years, the young people won't even know who these guys are, or they'll say, they played in weak leagues, blah blah blah... The same way people talk about Pele and Maradona now
