Yeah like military pension which i think you get after 2 years of service.
It really only benefits the guys who stay in for like 20+ years, their pensions are like 5k+ a month, but if you enlist for like 4 years your pension is prolly like 1k a month for the rest of your life, so essentially a guaranteed fallback no matter what.

Statistically, military experience also allows you to get higher paying jobs, and if you study something relating to STEM, with military experience, your chances of getting a job in that field increase exponentially.

Not to mention the fact that america is fucking militarypilled as fuck so pretty much any store you go into there will be a military discount usually around 30% off of anything.

The highest military discount ive seen was at old navy and it was memorial day 80% off

So theres a shit ton of benefits.

Regarding the actual time you’re enlisted, they pay for all your food, all of your housing, and the only thing you pay for is amenities like electricity, water, etc.

Entry level pay is like 40k a year, which obviously increases every year,
So for four years, you’re gonna make about $170k-$175k

They also pay for your entire college, and you can do college WHILE you’re in the military.

So imagine this

You go into the miltary at 17, get shouted at a bit, make $170k, and if you chose to, do school.
4 years,
later, you’re 21,
You have a degree,
no debt,
If you have invested correctly (crypto, stocks, bonds) while you’re in the military, you could’ve increased your portfolio into the millions,
And on top of all that you have benefits for life.
