Had MARPE consultation today

Ortho said I qualify and we can do custom marpe with lightweight 3d printed braces. Only issue is that she wants to file down my lower teeth to “pull them back so my jaws will fit” which Im worried will cause recession. She said it’s a less invasive way than pulling teeth. My CBCT scan is in 2 weeks, so hopefully they’ll say I have a skeletal underbite and give me a facemask. Other issue is that it costs a shit ton of money. Insurance didnt go through, luckily my dad is rich but my mom has Jewish spending habits (she doesn’t know yet but when she finds out she’ll be pissed)
