Hair help

I have high porosity curly hair. It’s look like shit when I go to Florida where I live it gets dry and frizzy. But when I go back to college where it’s cold it suddenly becomes 10/10 insane not as curly and healthy. Is it only the cold? Like tf is going on. I hate my curly hair but idk how to straighten it to be just wavy and less fucking ethnic. What can I use for products I’m not using any faggot leave in or gel. Please help me bro, if I figure out my hair I fucking mog
