Hair long or short? (+week one mt1 + tan)

A lot of you suggested I grow my hair out; I have, but it now looks quite frizzy imo. What do you guys think looks better? (Also note, despite the lighting differences, I have indeed taken steps to improve my colouring as a lot of you suggested, by starting mt1 and tanning; the effects so far are mostly due to tanning since mt1 takes a while to take effect). AS I SAID: IGNORE THE LIGHTING (backlight vs frontlight) AND POSING DIFFERENCES: JUST COMMENT ON WHETHER LONG HAIR MOGS SHORT HAIR OR NAH
