Does anyone know a way to stop hair shrinking and puffing outward so much when it dries?

I like this length alot but it always shrinks when it dries. I’m using leave in conditioner currently to stop it frizzing so much.

Best I could tell you is avoid excessively washing it too much to reduce the shrinkage
