this will only work if you have thick, voluminous hair

once you condition your hair in the shower, use a blow dryer to blow heat in the direction that is closest to the photo (center, right-hand side), then in order to keep the hold, apply pomade and also apply in the same direction you added heat

i have the same hair structure. thanks for the good advice.

I've never used a conditioner though, just normal shampoo. any recommendations?

for conditioner: it's all up to you tbh, they all pretty much make your hair silkier and more manageable. just find one that fits your hair type better (depending on frizz, texture, volume). personally, my hair is very thick so i use tresemme conditioner.
