There any way other than perm to make hair wavy, mine is like straight as steel, I did perm while ago 4 months before but now they straight again

I also have straight asian hair (I’m white) I have tried a light mousse, light styling gel, and sea salt spray (cope). Styling gel worked best for me, won’t do wavy perfectly but does alright.
