pretty sure it won't fall off as quick

and what i mean by this thread is that people will try to bring bacu a norwood 2-3 and take a lot of dut/fin when they could just get a transplant and take lower amounts

not even abt transplant, my point is that dut/fin do is: lowering/blocking total dht of your body, which is already not optimal.
5% of the males in the studies apresent the side of dht blockers, some sides such a penile shrink are permanent.
dht blockers also lowers allopregnalone, not discutible, its a fact. some males can resist well a neurosteroids lowering, some not, and will experience terrible sides.

inb4 muh "just i never had these sides"
topical androgens such as RU58841,KX-826, Clascoterone,GT20029.. the list go on
are much more effective for hair protection and more quickly results(means no shed phase and not waiting 10+ months for results jfl)
and all without lowering serum DHT and neurosteroids

even if you're lazy to source topicals antiandrogens, topical finasteride/dut, topic espirolactone, topical flutamide and such...

"take lower amounts" what do you mean? You clearly dont understand the things you say. If we are talking about fin, then you might as well just dont take it at all, considering even normal 1mg fin often stops working or not enough for many men. And if you are talking about dutasteride, you will get sides (if you are destined to) on the lower doses as well because supression of serum DHT is still big. Yes, it will fall of pretty quick if you are already balding. If you are NW4-5, then yes, hair transplant is a must because only few lucky ones can except so much regrowth only on 5AR blockers

not a study realized with humans, yet so many reports
1781152428747
Finasteride1
Finasteride3

but lets take a look what happened in rats:
25% of the weight of the penile tissue reduced.
lets not forget that androgen deprivation is bad in penile tissue aswell:

plus, long term usage of dht blockers result on androgen deficiency regardless t levels on body
Androgendefiency

wtver, regardless any argument for me fin/dut is subpar compared to topicals
