bring the temples and sideburns in slightly. technically doable. would create a slimmer upper face look with less extra space outside the eye area. seems worth looking into no?

Do you have wide temples?

The only reason I can see this work is it makes the temples look slimmer so face looks less wide

my whole face is wide
this seems more effective than cheekbone shaving it just makes you zygoless while leaving the face wide

Well if ur esr is bad bc of also wide temples not just wide zygos then in theory yes this will help

But ur zygos will still stick out ofc

Yes, but same technical challenges as with temporal peaks : hair angulation is naturally more acute, growth patterns are more complex, and skin is thinner in these areas. The outline of the expanded area should ideally be transplanted with follicles extracted in the nape of the neck, for a softer, more natural look. Most HT doctors cannot be bothered with such details, even those who frequently deliver good results for hairline restoration. So chose your surgeon carefully ; make sure he has top notch artistry and doesn't slack with slightly unusual procedures.

i don't know what that is
It's the width of your skull divided by the length, and that multiplied by 100. Above 80 is bad. Above 80 we call brachy for brachycephaly. Cephalic index is a bit like ESR, but for your jaw length and general forward growth.

how are you supposed to measure it if you have hair
can't see the exact width and length

Push against the hair until you feel the side of your head or forehead. Your hair can't be that thick. Unless you have afro-textured hair.

It doesn't need to be perfect. Just get a tape measure and sense when your hands and the measure have spanned the length of your head and then the width.

It doesn't need to be perfect. It just indicates if there is a (very severe) problem. If you're inaccurate by 5mm, but it comes out at 76, I wouldn't worry.

Ideally this would be done in a doctors office with big calipers, but in the basement there may only be a tape measure.

To answer your question bluntly, no. Hair transplant will just make you look strange like you're a werewolf. The thing that makes a low ESR so brutal is it's an indication of structural deformity. It has to be occluded by strands of hair, and then you just perpetrate extreme fraud where one gust of wind changes IOIs into "ew" or "nevermind."

You can only hide deformities with hair. That's the whole cope of "framing your face" that hair dressers do. When I spoke to someone with a temporal plane deformity, he was like "girls found me attractive until I accidentally brushed the hair over my temples". I was like "fucking hell."

But what is your midface. If your midface is OK, then you only have to worry about your temples and cheekbones. There may be something that you can do.

i mean if i edit myself to have slightly closer temples and sideburns it looks a bit better
i also had that happen where if i push my hair back I'm told to bring it back to how it was
midface is .92 undistorted
but my upper face width and cheekbones are super bad
when i tuck my hair back i want to cry

True. But remember that a picture of your face isn't your face. Your face as an object in reality has depth. Moggers in their photographs dominate in their real life. When I have to speak to moggers who have come to the till, I'm like barely holding it together the mog is so visceral and so...3-D, and I have to pitch my head upwards to even comprehend it because they are tall. Looking good in a few carefully selected photographs isn't enough when Tinder encourages me to add video :feelsrope:

:forcedsmile::forcedsmile::forcedsmile:Suifuel. I can only imagine how terrible that feels. It's like your true face is invalidated. Invalidated by people who think looks don't matter and we are a bunch of crazy people on a forum.

It really depends on whose face it happens to. I can imagine a face where the cheekbones are too big where lateral shaving might help. South Korean surgeons have this snazzy technique when they cut the zygoma and the zygomatic arch and bend it and tuck it behind the temple bone. You should watch it.

The most experienced surgeons that can reduce your cheekbones will be in South Korea. If you feel you can solve your subhumanity, fucking do it. Wage slave and do it.
