A barber has 25 IQ and can literally only use the clippers and SOMETIMES a straight razor. And only master barbers can use a straight razor efficiently and correctly. Most barbers can only cut hair to the direction you give them. They can't actually make your hair look good. Most have zero idea where the fuck hair should be parted let alone any style the hair should take.

A hairstylist knows how to actually shape the hair in a way it fits your face and in a way it fits the texture of your hair. A barber is literally hurrdurrmuhfadesnsheeeit

Where do you live? Usually salons are where stylists are. Regular barbershop won't have stylists on staff

Guys go to salons where I live but it's a more upscale area. In the hood probably not, so you'd have to go out of your way. I find the higher the average income the more the average guy looksmaxxes (naturally since they can afford it), whereas in the poor areas guys will cope and say it's "their money" that attracts women (ironically)

Also girls love it when a guy walks into a salon anyway since they know it makes us look better. If you're on this forum you probably mog the average guy so they'd probably enjoy seeing you walk in the salon anyway. Imagine seeing nothing but dudes most of the day but then a woman walks in. It would be the same for those lonely broads
