My dad took something called ayahuasca with his buddies and said he spoke to God and has done it like 10 times afterwards and said after each time he feels super fucking enlightened. But some of the ppl he took it with had horrible trips (one guy battling cancer watched his own funeral happen and saw demons clawing at his coffin trying to bring him down with them)

well did it give him any long term effects or what? you said hes token it more than 10 times after those trips, but thats crazy man, the only psychedelic ive tried is 5meo so i dont have much experience with psychedelics other than ‘5’, but i do have more experience with Dissociatives, ive never heard of ayahuasca tho i might look into it, thanks for the story!

The effect it's had on him is basically just wanting it more. He's very religious and him speaking to God during his trip changed the way he went about religion.damn what the fuck
I haven't heard of it before he told me about it, apparently it's some Brazilian tea and many tribes in South America use it for its spiritual purposes

ehh not rlly, their chemical identities are a distinct, related molecule.
5meo contain 5methoxy N,N dimethyltryptamine while ayahuasca i believe does contain N,N dimethyltryptamine but its combined with a monoamine oxidase inhibitor plant.
i mean even just this alone ayahuasca is drunk as a liquid and lasts several hours while ‘5’ usually lasts minutes and is more of an inhalor or vaporized, think of them as a leopard and a jaguar. look the same but are fundamentally distinct.
