He made it to convince his audience that "successful" people thought he was worth the 1000$ fee, hence the claims about famous musicians who he conveniently couldn't name purchasing the coaching. No one in their right mind would stop selling an easy $1000/hr service if enough people actually were purchasing it.

What happened is that he wasn't selling enough coaching to make it worth the backlash so now he's trying to recover his image and pivot to selling other services, which he goes on to sneakily plug by mentioning how he doesn't bring them up much anymore. Then later describes exactly what the service he's selling is and how much the cost is while still insisting that he never brings it up.

Also, if he's making so much money why does he still live in his parents' house where his dad allegedly abused him throughout his childhood? It doesn't add up.
