Glock 17 is more for self defense, if you’re hunting big game a Smith & Wesson is the ideal choice but you need perfect aim.

I said glock 20 not 17. 17 isnt powerful enough to stop big game like bore, bull, bear etc

Any gun can stop a big animal even a .22 if you have correct shot placement it’s just not recommended

Yes but you need to target vital organs and mag dump. When it comes to big game defense you need to immediately neutralize the animal. Boars for example can keep charging after being shot a few times if you didn't place your shots properly

A handgun would never be recommended. You’d need a rifle or a shotgun. Pistols are nice for carrying on your person for personal protection but against actual big game you’ll want a bigger gun. It really depends on what you’re hunting.

A handgun would never be recommended. You’d need a rifle or a shotgun. Pistols are nice for carrying on your person for personal protection but against actual big game you’ll want a bigger gun. It really depends on what you’re hunting.

Well yeah. Handgun are basically the last resort. Your final line of defense. Handguns are for emergencies if you're actually planning to hunt, bring a proper rifle or a shotgun. Handgun also sometimes work better in marshy places where a rifle wouldn't work.
