In Hebrew slang, hanta (חַנְטָה, pronounced chan-tah or hanta) means nonsense, a lie, a scam, fraud, or something completely fake. It is a colloquial term frequently used to dismiss a story, excuse, or claim as "rubbish," "bologna," or to tell someone they are "full of crap
