power gives happiness, and happiness gives power. the two are inseparable, the causality goes both ways.

an unhappy man becomes happier when he gains power, like an evil villain becomes happy when he destroys. so even in this case, happiness is power and power is happiness.

i do not mean that happiness is being content in a way where u do not try to change. i mean true happiness, where u exert change because u can. u can have a happy life yet still have ur concerns for the reality and care to make progress

i used to think opposite, that happiness was a trade off, that it stalled progress, and that dissatisfaction would get me objectively farther in the end. but what did that mindset cause me? failure, i could not function for my values and goals.

yet they are sentient in their own way. we are unique just like every other animal species, but we are no less unique as all are unique. u cannot comprehend their sentience just as they cannot comprehend urs. but this is beyond our understanding, our perspective is such an illusion that it becomes tricky to think about critically, and critical thinking will lead u astray, toward ur own perspective, because that is whats useful to u, that is ur business
