So my personal experience with hard chewing came from when I was younger and had a more developed side and a recessed side because of me chewing on one side more, I did that because chewing on my right side could give me tooth pain that could only be explained by the dentist as me having teeth that had less protection to the nerves that made my teeth sensitive. So one day while watching devilman crybaby of all things I noticed this recession in my one side, while clenching my teeth one masseter would be stronger and made my side profile better while the other looked soft. So I began to chew gum and other food on the right side more to develop it, it became such a problem that even my mom noticed the difference once I pointed it out to her. Now hard gum or masseter gum as some companies promote it can help, but without releasing the masseter muscle time to time can give you migraines like I had suffered for many years. Anyways here's some pictures to compare my jaw before and after (***please note these comparisons are at least 4 years apart so there has been alot of changes, i had also spent about an hour on the treadmill by that point too so thats why my hair looks slightly damp.) I still have a long way to go so any advice would be greatly appreciated, my eye area is cooked so Ill do my research into that.
