Hello,
I am 21 years old. I have always struggled with gaining weight since I was a child. I have been to doctors and they did not detect any disease, but the situation is severe— I weigh 55–60 kg at 180 cm tall. I’ve tried several drastic bulking diets (including sugar and fast food), but nothing works; I can’t add more than 5 kg above my baseline, and even if I do, it isn't sustainable for me to maintain. So I’ve looked online and seen several options:

I’ve tried several drastic bulking diets (including sugar and fast food), but nothing works; I can’t add more than 5 kg above my baseline, and even if I do, it isn't sustainable for me to maintain. So I’ve looked online and seen several options:
- I believe the first and most effective option is steroids (specifically TRT). I don’t want to become a bodybuilder; we know that in looks, the face is most important, not the body, so if I were to take TRT, it would only be to return to a weight considered optimal. Is it safe to use steroids at low doses to achieve moderate muscle mass growth? Or if I take steroids, will I have to take 20+ other drugs and become a walking pharmacology ?
- The second option is appetite-stimulating hormones such as Ghrelin or Cyproheptadine, but I am not as informed about these drugs. However, they seem like a better alternative to steroids because I wouldn't get the side effects of androgenic.
- The third option would be peptides. I’ve seen many peptides for weight loss, but fewer for gaining weight. Still, I’m not informed enough to make a stable decision regarding which peptides are right for me. We know that 'lean is law,' and yet, even though I just want to add weight, it is preferable for that weight to be muscle mass.
