It can go one of two ways. You got to make sure it's just your philtrum that's too long. If it's also your maxilla you have to get it sliced in half and then reduced but if it's just a physical skin that's too long it's a simple incision then they remove it

Depends. If your long philtrum is caused by a thin upper lip try getting lip filler/lip flip. If it’s caused by a short vertical nose length then a rhinoplasty is needed, specifically with septal cartilage grafts or columella grafts, or even both. If you have none of these issues then a lip lift is the final option, though don't get a lip lift without assessing if you need the other options first or you’ll fuck your proportions .
