ur low facial width and laterally flat zygos is ur biggest flaw

Well not even sure how flat my zygos are, but if I get mse zygos will be so laterally projected that I’ll be forced to do something like jaw implants, I know that mse would give massive benefits, but it takes 2 years, 13k usd, I’ll be chopped for 2 years, and my wisdom teeth might come out in the bottom and I will need them removed

My friend keeps telling me this lol, if I get mse jaw implants will be crucial. But right now I think it would just make my jaw to midface ratio 1-1 which is not ideal

Also one of my other concerns is that the marpe is not a cosmetic procedure and will likely not make a huge difference, then the only point of getting it is to fix my dark corridors which Invisalign could fix

Aigth, ortho told me that there wouldn’t be space for them, as I already have a minor crowding in my bottom jaw, my widow teeth would also come out in the upper jaw but it’s fine since there would be space for them

I might be weird, but I would rather have a “natural” surgery. But there might not be any other alternative. Overall I think it’s unrealistic for me to go through 2 years of suffering to improve my cheekbones and slightly and then needing to get a rhino

wym, how much expansion? If that’s the question I think the expansion will be roughly 7-8mm. I’m 184, but I’m always wearing height boosters when I go out making me 188 lol.

Im going into the final consultation for my marpe treatment tommorow, i have a 36mm palate and have horrible dark corners. However my teeth structure is realy good so i think expansion will be crucial.

not mse because mandible suture becomes solid at about age 1 and you cant widen it/open it like the maxillary suture, but you can bring it forwards and fix projection/recession with a herbst appliance.
