Thumbpulling might work, in theory, due to the concept of fuckass mechanotransduction—where consistent mechanical stress or pressure on cartilage and connective tissue can lead to slow, subtle remodeling over time. Similar to how braces reshape teeth or how certain nose-shaping tools work by applying pressure, regularly pulling on the thumb could stimulate minor changes in tissue structure, potentially elongating or reshaping it slightly. Some anecdotal evidence from the fucken org community suggests that long-term, gentle pulling may increase joint flexibility, enhance grip aesthetics, or give a more defined look to the thumb and hand. Since cartilage is somewhat malleable, especially in younger individuals, there’s a small possibility that consistent thumbpulling could lead to very minor, gradual visual changes.
