Is this a meme or does it actually happen to people

No. My eye area collagen actually improved from using retinoids and then tretinoin later on. Not instantly though, but after 1+ year of usage. So instead of aging my skin it has made it look younger.

And why wouldn't it? Tretinoin promotes collagen synthesis and rapid skin turnover wherever you apply it.

Tbh not really at all
My fat pads pretty much are the same

In old user used to put it under their eyes for wrinkles (I'm a skeptical so haven't) and said it tightened their under eye area and improved it
@Preston tub of lard did this

However it has made acne scars more visible that were never there before

No, nothing. If anything, it even *increased* subcutaneous fat despite the fact I cut to very low body fat.

Retinols and retinoids are miracles tbh.

But like Chadethnic101 said, I had a small mole removal scar on my face, tretinoin made it a bit whiter and more visible... But fortunately it's just 2mm and invisible unless someone stares right at your face from 10 centimeters.
