Has anyone been able to get rid of dandruff?

I mean dry dandruff and dry scalp like in the desert. Nizoral is not effective against this because it dries even more

i used to have horrendous dandruff at age 11-12, to the point where it was literally dripping down onto my black collar. i used t-gel once and it never came back even when i went weeks without washing

Kerastase bain anti-pelliculaire + only washing once a week fixed mine.
It's damn expensive though, and it will take months for your scalp to adjust to less washing.

Nizoral cured it for me, but I have greasy hair, not dry.
If your skin is dry in general, you can try to address that (more water, less diuretics).

Use 1% ketoconazole shampoo for a few weeks and it'll go away, then use it occasionally

The reason why your scalp is dry is because you wash your hair too often + shit sebum genetics

Yes; ketoconazole shampoo 2% cures it; avoid Nizoral though, it dries your hair bad -good luck
