Has anyone else gone solo camping/hiking before.

I’m planning on doing a lot of solo outdoorsy things this summer. The only issue is I’m an ethnic and my parents never taught me anything about surviving in the wilderness. What kind of stuff should I know before hand and does anyone know any good books to help learn about general safety in the wild?

Yeah, I wish that I had the option of "just starting a relationship" with anyone, let alone white foids, most of which have delusions of grandeur and don't even want to breathe the same air I do.
