Has anyone else’s accutane timeline looked like this????

Been on low dose accutane (~20mg) for little over 5 months. Worked great, cheeks and forehead are completely clear along with body, had literally zero acne on my whole face for like two months.

But for the past month or so i keep getting these small pimples around my mouth area specifically above and under my lips. Even before taking isotret i never had any breakouts in this area and dont know what’s causing it, as i haven’t changed my routine at all and up until now my skin just continued improving on accutane but now its so volatile.

Has this happened to anyone else or does anyone know what causes this?? I havent seen anyone else talk about it.

For reference i use vanicream cleanser, la roche triple repair moisturizer, and la roche tinted spf

I think I have heard of this before and someone was talking too much biotin are you taking that? I think I’ve even noticed it a bit myself so now I take it less often.

No the only supps i take are fish oil, magnesium glycinate, and k3+d2

I hadnt heard of that, how does biotin cause that

Sorry I don’t know the whole technical story but biotin breakouts are a thing and it’s common to take it while on accutane so that’s why I thought to ask. I guess at this crazy supplement levels it’s just too much. I took 5mg per day then saw some bumps (normally I never have any acne at all) and indeed, when I took it less frequently it went away.
