Has anyone had someone come up to them and say you look like someone they know?

I was at the gym yesterday and I go up to this one guy in my math class just trying to make a conversation to have more friends in uni. While I talk to him I meet his friend who I guess is also in my math class, and he immediately brings up how I look exactly how his friend does from his hometown. He started pulling up his phone to show me that friend.

While he was doing this my brain went into fight or flight mode and my heart was racing as I felt I shouldn’t have even come up and say hi because of how scared I was. I thought he was gonna show me a picture of someone who I wouldn’t even think looks like me and then would be someone conventionally unattractive.

Fortunately I lucked out and he showed me a guy who actually looked just like me but I’d say he was better looking. He told me when he saw me on the first day of school he instantly started telling his group chat that there was a clone of his friend in his math class.

Besides the fear of the photo this experience was actually pretty cool. The only other time I’ve been compared to someone randomly like this is when my friend’s girlfriend said I looked like Lorenzo zurzolo if he had curly hair which is why I glaze him so much even tho I think she only said it cause I have a negative canthal tilt. He doesn’t anyways I’ll take any compliment I get when compared to guys who are more attractive than me
