I'd say I was with my landwhale ex primarily for comfort for the first couple years. The last couple years (beginning in 2015), I just stayed with her because I felt sorry for her and wanted to fix her in various ways (weight, mental health, etc.) just so her life would be better and maybe she'd be an adequate gf for me, rather than someone I dumpster dove for so I could lose my virginity and have the LTR experience for once in my life.
