Been thinking about finally getting an ADHD diagnosis after my brother who also has it has been saying I have it too for years. I specifically want vyvanse for multiple reasons, anyone want to share their experience with it?

I used to take Vyvanse. The problem with Vyvanse is that it lasts too damn long. If I were to take it at noon I wouldn't be able to fall asleep until 3am. Another side effect of it lasting long is that the comedowns are terrible. It's basically 3 hours of depression after the pill wears off. Also, if you get too high of it you can still do work but you'll work much slower because Vyvanse makes any boring activity fun to the point you don't want to stop whatever you're doing (this goes for all stims).

IMO, instant release Adderall is better because it doesn't last as long. You must not take it every day or you will build a tolerance and dependence. Perscription ADHD meds are essentially meth in a pill. From what I've heard on the web a super high Adderall does is indistinguishable from the feeling of meth

I tried out Vyvanse, Ritalin, Adderall, and Modafinil in medical school. Didn't need stimulants in undergrad because undergrad is a joke in comparison. Ultimately I found pomodoro method works better than any of these for long-term studying and productivity
For "ADHD" quit porn video games internet before you hop straight onto these as they can be addictive and stimulants will not be overly beneficial if you have major underlying addictions
If you are hardcore ADHD to the point of being below average academically then sure just go to any psychiatrist that has reviews saying they are liberal with prescribing and memorize the symptoms

If you are still in high school you should realize your college years will decide the trajectory of your life particularly if you are in a STEM/technical field. Sure you could be the outlier that does ass in college and becomes a billionaire but then again you could also be the 4'11 micropenis indian that slays victorias secret models, so I would definitely take your education seriously

I have trouble sleeping in the evening when I take 5 mg of Amphetamine sulphate in the early AM. Over for me

Don't use stimulants everyday, it'll fuck you up. Only abuse them to study or for social situations. First time using vyvanse was amazing, made me extremely talkative while I'm usually pretty quiet, also made me very euphoric. But it loses it's magic pretty fast so like I said, don't use it too often.

One tip. Don't buy pressed vyvanse or adderall from some shady street drug dealer because they're most likely pressed with meth.
