Has anyone here with implants experienced INFECTION

Implants are still the ONLY permanent solution to adding BONY MASS to your face.

my biggest concern is infection. Surgeons say it’s like 5% chance. Anyone here ever gotten an infected implant?

I have infraorbital, malar, and mandibular angle implants. Silicone. Experienced no infections for any. Only complication was some shifting on the left jaw implant (overambitious on size) that required a revision surgery.

Edit: To answer the below question, no I wasn't charged for any part of the revision. The surgeon was not local though so I had to pay again for travel and accommodations but that's on me. The other downside was I had to live with the implant having shifted anteriorly for 6 weeks which looked fucking ridiculous. Thank god for Covid masking.

I absolutely agree, my hard Mac will be a couple implants tho for sure
