Has anyone here worked in sales?

I got a sales job and all the reviews for the company were shit but I suspect it's because sales is the kind of job where you either earn a lot or barely anything and most people will suck at it statistically speaking.

Does anyone here have good experience and if so, any advice?

Edit: The job is also commission only and there is a "safety net" but obviously it's quite low.

i was selling solar panels at Home Depots and Costcos in the Northeast United States while taking a semester off at university and was making decent pay but stressing like a mofo

and then i got sent to jail about a few days after i quit for something ridiculous id rather not share online if you respect me you wont ask
