Has anyone in here actually seen facial changes from roidcelling + chewing jaw trainers and thumb pulling/mewing from age 21-25?

I wanna hear from people in that age range that have actually tried it.

Not 14-15yos that are just speculating and estimating what the results are gonna be like at those ages

Roids changing bones is a myth. Maybe they can grow clavicles/dick but everything else is pure cope. Unless you're roiding as an 8 year old.

No. Just look at body builders facial transformations. All of that GH and test their abusing is definitely adding bone mass

Yes it adds bone mass. Masseter region of course mainly but also face width through facial bloating, is perceived as higher bone mass but you can tell the bloat

Good to know it can speed up chewing gains. But you don’t think it’ll provide any real FWHR/Zygo gains or make changes to orbitals or brow ridge?

Wdym by zygo gains. It will increase your FWHR for sure since your face width increases because of the bloating. Not sure about brow ridge or orbits but I doubt it

I tried mewing for 3 years after being diagnosed with a class 3 occlusion (recessed maxilla) around 5 years ago. It was advised by my ortho way before mewing became a trend. Apparently it stabilises results from Invisalign.

As expected, it did absolutely nothing.
I can’t take redditors seriously, who still preach that nonsense.
Similarly, hgh doesn’t do shit at that point.
Maybe your bone density will experience minor increases but it won’t alter your visible bone structure.

What about chewing jaw trainers?

What about chewing jaw trainers?
I tried chewing more hard food and gum.
It made me look bloated and gave me even worse TMJ, so I stopped at some point.
It obviously increases lower third volume but it won’t alter the jawbone itself, unless you are a toddler still.

Bone remodelling is probably a real thing but with a fully matured skeleton, it’s highly unlikely to create significant changes.
Maybe if you were to chew hard gum for 10 years straight daily, it could lead to slight bone thickening but we are talking about a few mm at best here in some lucky individual cases.

Surgery options are clearly the best within that age range and almost guaranteed to work.
