Most advertising in Europe just copies American advertising. Blacks are disproportionately over represented in American media/ads.

There are like 85 million Hispanics and Asians combined in the US, but you basically never see them in ads.

American advertising makes you Think the country is like 50% black and 50% white. It’s more like 44% white with blacks making up like 13% of the population in the younger age groups.
