the dude in this research literally got his ipd reduced by 4mm, he went from 63mm to 59mm by using bimatoprost.
There are different studies that show this and it works for sure , has anyone tried it ?

"However, the IPD partially recovered both the times on discontinuing the medication over the course of several months."

We can't guarrantee if it's permanent results or not. Besides, the most it can do is change soft tissue, which may impact distance, but the root of the problem is still there, the eye distance

It decreases pressure.
"The patient was a 36-year-old ophthalmic vitreoretinal surgeon from Tochigi, Japan, with primary open-angle glaucoma and bilaterally instilled PGA eye drops to decrease intraocular pressure."

Thats what bimatorpost does, except I guess something with intraocular pressure has correlation with soft tissues, so it may change IPD

Other than that the lash growth is like a bonus rather than the purpose

Okay so the eye in the socket moves from left to right and stuff okay

The eye distance changes , because bimatoprost basically burns the fat around the eye . The patient went from 63 mm to 59 but after he stopper using bimatoprost he recoverd to 61.5 .

Great information, but I mean if it can have such drastic result's then Assymetry will be an issue no?

I mean, one eye is further than the radix than the other (if I am making sense)?

Ye can you explain how the fuck should it reduce ipd
Because it burns the fat between ur eyes and ur nose . There are literally studies and it works every single time , there threads about it in 2021 , a guy named sensei posted abt this shit a lot and a guy tried it and it worked for him

Quite the trade off, Lower IPD by a few MM but have a zombie eye-area?

To see more then 2 mm change u need to use bimatoprost for more then 4-5 months , assymetry us not going to be a problem imo because the fat burns equally in both sides

We are talking abt eye drops , but yeah bimatoprost aka latisse can burn the fat around ur eyes if ur not careful with it , Tbh if you are using it for lashes ur dumb . Oral minoxidil is the only safe way

The theory behind the reduction of interpupillary distance (IPD) associated with bimatoprost use is not fully understood, but several potential mechanisms may explain this phenomenon:

Potential Mechanisms

  • Vascular Effects: Bimatoprost, as a prostaglandin analog, may influence vascularization and tissue tone around the eyes. This could lead to changes in the position of soft tissues, indirectly affecting the IPD.
  • Muscular Changes: Prolonged use of bimatoprost might cause alterations in the ocular muscles or supporting structures, resulting in a perceived change in interpupillary distance.
  • Temporal Factors: While IPD is primarily determined by the bony anatomy of the orbits, temporary factors such as swelling or changes in muscle tension can create an impression of altered distance.

Anatomical Considerations

Although IPD is predominantly defined by the bony structure of the orbits, dynamic interactions between ocular effects, soft tissues, and fluids can influence visual perception and the apparent position of the eyes. Thus, while anatomical structure provides a fixed limit, dynamic factors may lead to perceived variations. In summary, while it remains complex and not fully proven that a liquid like bimatoprost can cause a real change in IPD, interactions between the medication's effects and ocular structures may contribute to this perception

yeah i had this debate about the guys writing the best of the best thread who promote latisse ... this drug is retarded af .

if i put it on my nose only can it burn the fat there?

Yes , absolutely but this shit actually works to reduce ipd , a guy can literally reduce his ipd by 4 mm in a year and then get fat grafting to fix the fat loss above and under the eyes . No one is going to get an obo so this may be a crazy discover

now i need the opposite effect to increase my ipd ..... and i need long lashes for that unfortunnately

The eye itself

Not the socket

The socket is a bone

Makes sense, since bimatoprost fat atrophy is paritally recoverable

Probably, but, wouldnt be a noticable difference, besides, thats up to how you apply

What do u mean now , have u used bimatoprost ? However close set eyes are masculine and if its not below 43 esr is not noticeable to normies .

yeah true just i got close set eyes that i would like a bit more spaced out and i'm not getting obo for that anytime soon . i was thinking of getting longer lashes and longer brows to create the optical illusion of a wider ipd.

i did used latisse a long time ago and i got fat atrophy very rapidly then stopped . i did recovered but i was young .

i used oral min extensively its great for lashes length but it doesnt give the same density and darkness of the lashes as latisse unfortunnately and chest pressure fucked me up

i'm hoping vdphl mechanism will help me with that in the future

Yeah you can try vdphl , do u think u got also a reduction in ipd during the time u used latisse ? I dont think it can reduce it if u dont apply the eye drop in the eye . For ur close set eyes u can make ur eyebrows a bit more Spaced .

no i don't think i had any ipd changes but i only used it for like 4 months total . just i noticed my upper eyelid exposure getting wayyy worst and stopped right away

Do u think is worth for me to try bimatoprost , i got ur opposite problem wide set eyes but im 17 and im not getting filler/fat grafting to fix uee because of latisse until im 20

man rly irl no once notice your ipd at all you're fine. you will benefit from longer lashes like everyone so you can try latisse but that shit is a lifetime commitment. tbh if you're not worried about eye colour change you could try it for a year and see and you will likely recover from every other type of side since you're young

Yes maybe i will try it when I can afford fat grafting , how does my eye spacing look to you ? I know its a weird question but im curious .

I already have very dark eyes so i dont really care abt the color change
