Using something like bmp-2 doesnt seems particulairy hard to use

Sculpting a collagen sponge to mimic a gonion doesnt seem very hard, just buy a binch and do it over and over untill you get 2 symetrucal good pieces

Making the incision trough the mouth seems obviously best with the scars but higher risk so if id do it i would probably just go trough th outside and just cut below the ear

My only big issue with this is i dont know how hard it would be to make sure the sponge stays like you want to stay so it doesnt flip or squish etc so it looks weird

This cope and playing surgeon. BMP-2 and collagen scaffolds aren’t plug-and-play lego pieces you can just carve at home. Surgeons spend years learning how to control fixation, vascularization, and resorption and even they deal with failures, asymmetry, infection, or migration.

One way ive thought about is to open the skin a bit place the sponge and put a bit of glue to the bone and then soak it, so kinda reversed

I mean infection doesnt concern me to a big degree since i would go on antibiotics and make sure evrythings sterile and the incidion would be small and simple

And yes asymmetry is mostly what i am worried about
