I feel like since joining this community I have become more selfish, insecure, and judgmental of others.

I'm not proud of this and I'm doing my best to mitigate the impact that it has on my life.

I feel like this is just an inevitability of the values and culture were in.

Actually no for me I realize that even though i have it bad other have it worse and coming into thi community I knew I would stay strong in my values and still do (respecting women, hating er stuff like thst)

It gave me the ability to understand why I was frustrated and after a long time I came to peace with human nature and our ultimate slavery to our biology. I think what really did it for me was the study that showed infants reacted to attractive people differently, showing the halo effect is part of our core essence. It’s just life, if I was a foid I’d be a foid. All you can do is be 1% less ignorant than your circumstances allow you to be. Thats true compassion.

It's a person's choice to be a good or bad person at the end of the day. I personally hold LM for me at the end to make me a better person. Nobody chooses to be bad, you'll inevitably be miserable if you are unless you're severely mentally ill which is an insurmountably small percentage of people.

I want to ascend so I can be treated better, and in turn treat people better. Nothing feels better than lighting up a person's day by just being there.

I would say that life in general made me a 'worse person'
My loneliness, insecurities about my looks, just objective facial flaws, mental health problems,etc
It's like ive gained access to a dark hidden part of myself. I dont think Ive become evil, just that I wasnt aware of how evil I could be. Ive explored every dark and evil thought a human can possibly think of. Now I have absolutely no empathy for anyone. I feel so much sadness and anger. Im not just angry at people, but at reality and its carelessness.
