No. They took all of Lugansk, but Donetsk is still heavily defended. Russia's TOS flamethrower systems sure are enough to destroy any of their trenches, but it seems Ukraine is just cutting around them to encircle the area of Avdiivka where they have some of the best troops. In Izyum they have some great counterbattery going towards that direction, and the troops in Kharkiv never have any trouble. In Kherson it's gonna be hell. But not quite as much hell as we've seen in the Donbas over the last 6 months.

Ukraine is a weak nation. The only reason why they stand a chance against Russia is because they have full Nato support, which is just a proxy and an excuse for the US and its client states to harass Russia. The western media doesn't tell you that the war has been happening there since 2014 and before that.

The US end goal is to either weaken Russia into mini states or to claim it all together, which is very difficult to do when you're trying to convince the npcs living in your country that you're the good guys despite instigating all the wars for over 100 years. Nevermind how 80% of their population is obese and infertile.

So yes Russia has no issue claiming land especially in the future when America is going to decay into nothing. I don't give a fuck about Russia or Ukraine or the US I think they can all go fuck themselves.
