I tried something similar just to experiment. In my experience, a walk on the beach on a sunny day (vitamin D for brain+walking) is vastly vastly superior. After trying it for a time with an extremely open mind I've found that medditation is just a scam meant to hook non-religious people like you and me. It's a fancy method of LDARing. Nothing beats science (not the cucked mainstream science). If you feel like shit you might just be lacking in nutritients (protein, amino acid, magnesium, calcium, vitamin D through sun). It is not over if meditation doesn't work for you. It might just be the beginning.
