Eye contact is usually about communication, not for showing sexual or romantic interests.

When it comes to ugly women, I don't have a problem maintaining an eye contact. However, sometimes, I struggle to maintain an eye contact with beautiful women, because of my inferiority complex and the fact is perceive myself as a subhuman, a trash that doesn't deserve attention from beautiful women.

But if I have, say, for example, 5 second time to prepare myself and establish self-control before the beginning of the discussion, I won't have any problems with maintaining the eye contact. The problems with maintaining an eye contact occur when the discussion starts suddenly and I'm unprepared.

If you don't, you're aspie af. NT brains are designed to care. One might get enough validation, that they can take a hit to their ego, but they still care. I'm certainly not losing sleep over it. I'm just shitposting on a forum, but I do care a small amount.
