Have any of you guys been close to dying?

Closest i’ve been is when i got into a major skiing crash when i was 13, crashed into a tree and was knocked unconscious, I then woke up not remembering the entire day

Luckily my friends dad was behind me and quickly called ski patrol to grab me

Was rushed to the hospital and had the following injuries:

Fractured Nose, Fractured Right Cheekbone, Fractured right clavicle, Minor Concussion, Lower Labial Frenulum tear in my lower gum and got several stitches on it, and the worst of all, nerve damage in my left arm which left my tricep and deltoid muscles useless and took 10 months to fully heal so I was limited to only using my right arm (thank god it was the dominant one)

If i didn’t wear a helmet i definitely would not be here today so please wear your helmets

Solo crash on a motorcycle yeah.

Friend in HS lend me his bike since he's feeling unwell, at the time I can't really ride a bike (but still ride it anyway), I was going past the limit and just like that I slip.

Partially his fault cause his motorcycle got shitty brake and he only hand me his bicycle helmet, but I let it go cause I was lucky enough to not get my face fucked despite minor scars. Been driving carefully since that day.

a disc from the angle grinder i was using exploded into my face when i was 16 had 6broken bones in my face and a masive cut through my left eyebrow to the right side of my lips atleast i will get a free nose job when im 18 the scar looks kinda sick in my opinion but was kinda scarry at the time since i became blind from that much blood and my nose was detached and dangling around above the eyebrow a tiny part of the disc came through the skull and i was rly lucky it didnt get stuck in my brain and harm me that way hope i will get 30k or more from the company
