The idea of everything ending petrifies me, as I really romanticize life. All the happy, sad, and everything-in-between moments feel extremely rich to me, I don't want those to be taken away from me.
"Everyone dies, you're not special, it's part of life," I hear it so often when discussing about it with someone, like those would somehow coalesce my fears into acceptance. It just sounds cope to me, like you're just pushing the inevitability forward, making it a next day's problem. Ergo, never getting resolved.
Maybe it's a problem I'll never come to terms with. Can you really even understand it? It's just too alien to comprehend fully.
And finally meeting it, the problem disappears with you.
