Every white person back at my secondary school and uni liked to brag about their ski trips for some reason. I have never been to one.

it's bad, everything is arranged and there are many facilities and people all around. more useful would be camping and hiking through woods so you develop survival skills. so you are doing two things at the same time. having fun and improving your abilities.

Hiking has always appealed to me more than skiing.

I just think skiing is a big big waste of money. I've always preferred doing other activities.

Yes, 3 times.
I was a brutal truecel during all of it, but I mogged very hard in terms of skiing skill.

Tbh it's one of the best possible holidays. It's very active and more being one with nature, compared to most holidays.

My best experience was when I went on a skiing trip with my high-school and we were stuck in a snowstorm. Had to ski back to our hostel in an extremely dense snowstorm with heavy winds, was very adrenaline packed and super-cool.
