Have you guys ever had a really bad experience with a specific alcoholic drink?

My friend gave me this chinese spirit (60%) in a double shot glass a couple weeks ago at pres, and later in the night I got hospitalised for alcohol poisoning (legitimately remember nothing past around 1AM)

I dont think it was the sole reason as to why I got hospitalised, but I think it was the main contributor, as I spoke to others whove tried it as HALF SHOTS and they threw up immediately after drinking it jfl

But now after going through that experience I feel disgust at the thought of doing shots of not just that spirit, but any drink for that matter, as I have a fear in the back of my mind that I may go through that same experience again

I think the only way to get over it would be to get drunk enough again to the point where I just dont give a shit about doing shots and have an enjoyable experience with them, however theres also the risk that it could go bad as well and it makes me even more fearful of doing shots again kek

I drank 2 8% alcohol beverages and I drank down in one a full hip flask full of whiskey. I ended up throwing up like 5 times the next morning. The first time that morning I threw up all over the floor.
