Heard many companies also have now this Secret Santa thing, where you buy a gift that is given to a random person, so you won't be forced to buy gifts for all the people in your workplace, or be the only one ignored and don't receive any gifts.

Teacher made a draw and we students each had to send one card to each other. I legit stole a quote from the internet and added a "I wish you a merry christmas and a happy new year and stay healthy!" at the end. Meanwhile the girl that sent me one wrote a whole damn essay. Maybe she did it because I caught Corona and I've been sick for the past week, unable to participate in most Zoom lessons and all the students said they felt bad for me. She also wished me to get well soon and basic stuff like that.
